Automation can greatly enhance your workflows and increase productivity. If you're new to Make, this guide will take you through the steps to set up your first automation, or "Scenario," ensuring you unlock the full potential of this versatile platform.

Step 1: Visit Make Website πŸ‘€

To get started, open your web browser and go to Make's website.

Step 2: Sign Up

Sign up for an account using your Google credentials or an email address.

Step 3: Create a New Scenario πŸ’«

Once you're on the Dashboard, click on the 'Create a new scenario' button. This will initiate the process of creating your automated workflow.

Step 4: Set Up the First Action - Webhook

For your first action, choose 'Webhook'. In the webhook event, select 'Custom webhook.' This setup allows Make to receive data from other apps.

Step 5: Copy the Webhook URL

Select 'Custom webhook' and copy the URL displayed there. This URL is crucial as it will be used to send data to Make.

Step 6: Test the Webhook

When integrating this link into your Dripify campaign, you can configure the Webhook integration during the campaign setup or after it is already created. Choose when you want to push data, such as after an invite is sent, a message is sent, or after a reply. Enter the URL from the Make tab into the appropriate field. If you see a green checkmark after clicking 'Test', it means the webhook is working correctly.

Click on 'Test' to ensure Make can pull data properly. After testing, decide where you want your data to be sent. Options include G-Suite apps, CRMs, Slack and many more.

Step 7: Configure the Second Step

The next step follows a similar process. Select the action you want Make to perform and connect the relevant account, such as a CRM, Google Sheets, or another application. Ensure each tab has a green checkmark, indicating everything is functioning properly. If you encounter any issues, use the troubleshooting tab for guidance on resolving them.

Step 8: Publish your Scenario πŸ™Œ

After verifying that all settings are correct and functional, click on the "Run" button to make your Make live. Your automation is now active and ready to streamline your tasks.

If you face any issues, there are checklists and advice inside of Make when you create a sequence as well as their support team that is happy to help you when building Make.
