When leads are added to Dripify, the system automatically extracts their LinkedIn data and enables you to use it as message variables.

However, it is not uncommon to find imperfections in data that’s pulled from LinkedIn. LinkedIn data can contain extra information, such as CEO or Doctor in a profile name.

When a term like “CEO” is added as a variable in a message, it may sound awkward and not something you would like to send to a lead. Luckily, you can remove the unwanted data that is pulled, enhancing the consistency, accuracy, and dependability of your messages.

What is data scrubbing and how does it work?

Data scrubbing is the process of identifying and correcting or removing inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant data from a data source. In this case, you can scrub your leads’ profile name, improving the quality and reliability of your messages and reducing errors.

The Name Scrubber tool allows you to choose the data that is scrubbed to fit your needs. Simply add the words you would like to remove from the leads’ profile name in the box.

While some words are already added by default, you have the freedom to delete them and add your own, such as “director” or “senior.” Once saved, Dripify automatically checks for these words and removes them from your leads’ data, enhancing the accuracy and quality of your messages with variables.

By utilizing the scrubbing tool in Dripify for your leads’ profile name, you can greatly enhance the personalization of your messages that resonate with your leads and drive better, more meaningful conversations.
